Introduction
Metropolitan Stock Exchange of India Limited (MSE) conducts Auction Market sessions to facilitate the buy-in of securities that have been delivered short by trading members. Auctions are initiated by the Exchange on behalf of trading members for buying in securities where delivery obligations have not been fulfilled.
Auction Market Overview
Trading members can participate in Exchange-initiated auctions by entering sell orders for the auction securities available in the market. Trading members who have delivered short in a particular security are not permitted to enter sell orders in that same security during the auction session.
Auction Market Timings
The Auction Market opens at 2:30 PM and operates for a duration of 30 minutes. Auction sessions are conducted in accordance with the trading and settlement framework prescribed by the Exchange.

Instrument Name: AAA. Tick Size: Same as Normal Market. Daily Price Range (DPR): 20%.
Participation in Auction Market
Members eligible to participate can enter orders for securities available for auction. Auction securities are available through the Auction Enquiry window and related market information screens.
